This is the kind of shirt the early 90s did with complete confidence: bands of olive and deep purple crossed with red zigzags, rows of green diamonds and a grid of fine lines, repeated from collar to hem. It’s a brushed cotton flannel with a button-down collar, buttoned cuffs and a curved hem that drops longer at the back. The neck label reads “Why This?” and it was made in Macau, back when Macau was one of the places the world’s shirts came from.
It’s cut wide and roomy, the way 90s shirting was. Wear it open over a tee, or buttoned with the sleeves rolled.
