Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
At Pieces of Jake, we believe that great vintage finds should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to ensuring that our online store is usable by all people, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other adaptive tools.
Standards We Aim to Meet
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, and we use them as our benchmark for ongoing improvement.
What We've Done
- Descriptive alternative text is applied to product images throughout the store
- A “Skip to Content” link is available at the top of every page for keyboard users
- We regularly review our site for accessibility barriers as part of ongoing development
Known Limitations
We are a small, independent vintage store and we're actively working to improve. Some areas of the site — including certain interactive features and third-party app integrations — may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are committed to addressing these gaps over time.
